Great Lakes Lacquer – October LEs + The Friend Collection Part II!

Hi guys! Today I’ve got some swatches of the super gorgeous Part II to The Friend Collection from Great Lakes Lacquer(plus the October LEs, woo!).

Up first is The Evil Enabler, a deep purple jelly with orange holo flake, orange microglitter, and golden orange metallic glitter. This is such a nice, deep color! No issues with the formula, the photos below are 3 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“No one is safe from this lady’s swatches.  Perfect nails, perfect polishing, and gorgeous nail art hardly covers it.  I know I’ve bought many bottles of polish based on her pictures.  Good thing she has awesome taste.  I hear she is a mean mixologist and will ear bug you bad but I haven’t fallen victim to that yet [note from Dani: She is ridiculously good at the mixed CD business, I legit have one from her in my car CD player right now hahahaha].  You can always trust her to give you the truth while considering your feelings.  A true friend with the ability to make you empty your wallet.”

The Animal Advocate is a burgundy plum wine linear holo with gold shimmer and fuschia multichrome flake. Another stunner! I like the multichrome flake, it gives this polish a little something extra. No formula issues, photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

A woman with a heart of gold and the mind of a 12-year-old boy, this lady is quick with the sass and can make a sailor blush.  Still, she is a great friend who is always there with a helping hand, especially for those who can’t speak for themselves.  She does amazing things for animals in need, even fostering for those who would be forgotten otherwise.  Her huge heart and voracious vocabulary are a huge inspiration to me.”

The Enigmatic Soul is a cobalt blue jelly with amethyst and copper shimmer and tiny micro emerald glitter. I added just a tiny drop of thinner to this one, just a personal preference. It wasn’t super thick on its own or anything, I just wanted it to be a smidge thinner. It is such a pretty blue! I love blue and copper together, they make such a lovely color combination, and the addition of amethyst and emerald in the mix makes for a great polish! The photos below are 3 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“There is more to this one than there seems, at first.  At the surface, there is quiet but underneath the depths are limitless and rolling, almost like a river.  You would never know that she has all the amazing talents that she does if you don’t take the time to get to know her.  From making nail polish to architecture to the culture she cherishes, the multifaceted side of this lady never ends.”

The Polish Fairy Godmother is definitely the most unique color I have seen in a loooooong time! It is an orangey rusty red with a crazy blue sheen, this polish looks pink, peach, and beige sometimes depending on your lighting. I have genuinely never seen anything like it, and upon first hearing the color description, I was unsure how it could possibly work, but oh man it is SO GORGEOUS. You can stare at it all day and never decide exactly what color it is. No formula issues, photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“A more apt name could not be found for this one.  When I first met this lady, the first thing she did was send me a bunch of nail polish that I had on my wishlist.  I have gotten to know her since and she is as sweet as the goodies she sends.  She is also tough as nails.  To this day, I know of hundreds of people that she has visited her kindness upon.  You, too, may have her to thank for your keen interest in indie nail polish.”

20150913_120921

The Traveling Linguist is the perfect shimmery brown for fall! It is a warm bronzy brown jelly filled with gold shimmer. No formula issues on this one either, photos below show 3 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

This lady is a world traveler and has the language skills to go with.  She is also a huge nature lover.  Her idea of a vacation is taking you out camping and making you climb things while she’s at it.  I tell you though; the views when you wake up are worth it.  Did I tell you she’d give you the shirt off her back as well?  One thing is for sure, when I cross Patagonia off my bucket list, she’s definitely coming with me.  That way I’ll always have an extra pair of clothes and be able to ask where a bathroom is.”

Now for the October Limited Edition polishes! These are both inspired by one of Mariah’s favorite TV shows, The Walking Dead! Let’s hope Mariah doesn’t hate me for never making it past season 2 of TWD when I tried to binge watch it all on Netflix, hahahaha. My inability to get into the show aside, these polishes are freaking amazing. Stuff and Thangs might be in my top 5 ever polishes, it’s that gorgeous.

Coral is a purple linear holo filled with pinky coral shimmer and light. The name is a nod to Andrew Lincoln’s extreme southern drawl when he says Carl’s name. No formula issues, the photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
20150913_115239
20150913_115246

Stuff and Thangs, oh man. This polish. THIS POLISH. It’s a blood red jelly with ‘stuff and thangs’ floating inside. Specifically, orange-gold chrystal chrome flake, red shimmer, and microflake. It’s so squishy and gorgeous and just the perfect red with an oomph. No formula issues, the photos below show 3 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Elevation Polish – The Adventures of Marco Polo Collection!

*polishes in this post were provided for unbiased review*

Hi guys! Today I have the newest Elevation Polish collection to show you all. It is such a great collection, full of rich, vibrant colors that are perfect for fall if you ask me! I haven’t seen the Netflix show that this collection is based on, but it is on my list and I am sure it is amazing, hahaha.

Up first is Khan of Khans, a burnished olive gold with a metallic finish. It is such a rich color! I don’t own anything quite like it, which is rare for me. I’m not a stamper, but I think it would probably make a great stamping polish. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

20150806_104507

Next we have Munkh Khukh Tengri, a dusty denim blue full of ultra chrome flake shimmer in blue, green and gold. Another stunner! I love this deep, dusty shade of blue, it works so well with the flake shimmer. The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
20150806_110144
20150806_110110

Le Città invisibili is another one that has some ultra chrome flake shimmer in it, the base color is a purple leaning taupe. I love taupe-y shades like this, I think Essie Chinchilly was the first taupe/greige polish I ever bought and it created a never-ending love for these kinds of colors. Love love love. The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

20150806_114104

The next polish is The Latin of 4 languages, a copper metallic that leans orange/red. This one is SO INTENSE Y’ALL. This orange is another one that would possibly make for good stamping, it’s so vibrant. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Saif al Jabbar is one of my favorites of the collection, it’s a holo with a blackened base and a red to gold color-shifting shimmer. A+. Five stars. Such a great, vampy color! Photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

20150806_121101

This next polish, Zhenjin, ties for my favorite of the collection. It is a true burnished gold metallic holo, and it leans more gold than holo. IT IS SO GOLD. When I was wearing it, I kept looking down at my hands because it was just like BAM. LOOK AT THIS GOLD GOODNESS. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

This is the other polish that tied as favorite, Empress Chabi. It is a berry style red with blue and red shift shimmer, which may appear more violet. It is the perrrrrrrrrfect fall polish! Deep, vampy, and a killer shimmer to top it off! This is the one I’ve already gone back to and worn a few more times from this collection after I finished my swatches. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Great Lakes Lacquer – The Friend Collection, Part 1 + July LEs

*polishes in this post were provided for unbiased review*

Hi you guys! Today I’ve got a sneak peak of a brand new indie polish line, Great Lakes Lacquer! My friend Mariah has been working on this collection for a while, and I was so excited to see all of the gorgeous polishes she has come up with. Her hard work has definitely paid off! Also, I wanted to say up front that I might be *slightly* biased color-wise about one color(The Fashion Artist), as it is one that is kinda inspired by me, but I promise that won’t carry over into my review of the formula/application/etc!

Up first is Soul Sister. This polish is a pink-leaning bright red with a violet/pink shimmer and a holo finish. I love these kinds of pinkish reds! I had no issues with the formula, and the photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“She’s the one that you call your wife. She gets you. She’s the yin to your yang, the reason to your crazy, the calm to your chaos. She makes life better by just being her and you miss her all the time when she isn’t around. Her kids are your kids and vice versa. Even if life has separated you for awhile, that relationship is there, always there. Being the rock to my wave, I hope you all have one of these too.”

Up next is The Quick-Witted Comedian, a teal green filled with silver/green shimmer, some purple/blue flakes, and a bit of a holo finish! Teals and blues always end up being my favorites, and this one is no exception. I love this shade of teal, and the flakes really give it a nice touch. Again, no issues with the formula. Photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“This friend is always punny (see, I can do it too). She’s always the first to come up with a twisted response or to shed some laughter on the mundane. She could probably do stand up if she really wanted to but things in life just haven’t rolled that way for her. Her sunny disposition makes you wonder if maybe the clouds don’t have silver linings after all. Did I mention she’s as curious as a cat? Maybe her nine lives are the reason she’s so happy.”

The Triathlon Trainer is a deep blue jelly packed with aqua, green, and gold shimmer, and finished off with some multichrome flakes. Another stunner! The formula on this one was good, it’s not as opaque as the others though so you might need more coats for full coverage. The photos below show 3 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“The athletic. She’s as active as you can get and sometimes, it annoys the crap out of you. Why can’t I have that kind of energy or drive? Haha. This lady runs and walks and runs some more. But her favorite is swimming. Her love of water really is apparent. Her scuba dives are awesome. She’s even swum with a Whale Shark. I’m eating my own heart out thinking about it.”

Next up is Krazzzzie Fast Fingered Gamer Girl, a super bright turquoise filled with a gorgeous pinkish/purplish shimmer. This one leans a bit greener in photos than it appears in real life, but it’s still definitely a bright green-leaning teal. The formula is a tiny bit thicker than the others, but it didn’t cause any problems with application or drying time/etc. This is myyyy kind of teal, for reals! Love love love it. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

“This lady is the one you want on your team when you go raiding on WoW or any other role playing game on the net. She’s also a good one to have by your side during nail polish restocks, cuz that girl can snatch anything. She’s also just the sweetest thing on earth (with a bit of attitude on the side) and just a bit shy. Did I mention pretty nails? Gosh yes. Luckily she can deliver the nail polish she enabled you on because she’s krazzie fast.”

The Fashion Artist is a medium blurple filled with an aqua flake shimmer that shifts to pink at times. This polish is 1000000% meeeeeeeee. The color is right up my alley, it’s just perfection in a nail polish bottle! The formula on this one is a bit thicker like Krazzzzie, but again no issues with application or drying time/etc. The hint of pink shimmer in this polish did not want to come out and play in my swatches, but it’s definitely there! Amanda Loves Polish has a great macro shot of it, you can see the pink shift in that if you want to check out her blog post on the collection. The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite. (also, yeah re: the description of this polish, if you follow me or check out my instagram, you will see that I am indeed addicted to Black Milk Clothing and I change my hair color on a near weekly basis, hahahaha)

“Let me tell you, this lady is an artist. And she uses her body as her canvas. From her hair, her nails, down to the clothes she wears. She’s one of those people that stalk all the Black Milk Clothing releases? Yeah, leggings are PANTS! And her hair? She does these crazy melts that look totally awesome and I wish I could rock. Besides that, she does mini Picasso’s on her nails. It’s insane the talent and creativity this lady has.”

Big Lake is one of the July LE polishes, it will only be available until the 31st of this month. It is a deep orangey-red with a golden/red shimmer. This is a gorgeous polish, and a nice change from my usual summer brights. It’s slightly vampy but not too vampy, a great accent polish for a fancy night out on the town! No issues with the formula, the photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Sleeping Bear Dunes is another of the July LEs, and it’s an aqua linear holo stuffed with a green sparkle. For some reason, when I put this polish on, I just wanted to go to the beach! This is such a great aqua, and it’s more of a blue-leaning aqua than a green-leaning one. No formula issues whatsoever, the photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

These colors(and one other LE – ID), will launch tomorrow, July 12th at 3PM EST(Noon PST). The polishes will be available on the Great Lakes Lacquer Etsy Store. Make sure to follow GLL on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with the latest news, sneak peaks, and future releases!

Elevation Polish – Woke Up in China Collection + Yeti the Stone Warrior!

*polishes in this post were provided for unbiased review*

Hi y’all! Today I’ve got some swatches of the super gorgeous Woke Up in China collection from Elevation Polish. I genuinely think this might be one of my favorite collections, I love every polish in it and all of these colors are right up my alley.

Up first we have Mount Wutai, a spring-y jade creme. I love this shade of green! The formula on this, and all of the polishes in the collection, was great. They were all a tad thinner than previous EvP polishes, and so most of them required 3 coats instead of 2 for full coverage. The photos below show 3 thin coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Up next we have Kawagebo, a light blue crelly with a subtle shimmer. If you’re curious as to how it compares with the other Elevation Polish light blue, Walk a Little Farther, Ida has a great comparison of the two on her blog Ida Nails It! The shimmer in this one is so gorgeous. Overall, this polish reminds me of Cinderella and whenever I wear it, I have a sudden urge to watch some version of a Cinderella movie, hahaha. The photos below are 3 thin coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Yungang Grottoes is a coral creme with a gold flake shimmer and micro shimmer. I’m not entirely sure when I became such a fan of coral shades, but I went from hating them to now having a solid chunk of my wardrobe being made up of them, haha. This polish is no exception, I love it! This one feels the most ‘summery’ to me, it makes me want to throw on my bathing suit and head down to the beach! The formula on this one was also a tiny bit thicker, and so for the photos below I only used 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

Camels in the Snow is a glitter topper full of  a blend of iridescent hexes/squares, white hexes/squares/circles, and taupe circles, and some stars! It’s a great topper, and I imagine it will look good over a variety of colors as it is pretty neutral with just the white and taupe bits in it. The photos below show 1 coat over Yungang Grottoes + 1 coat Seche Vite.

The last polish I have to show y’all today is Yeti the Stone Warrior. It’s a LE for the month of July, and it’s a stunning blend of micro platinum flakes and holo pigment. It’s a great topper, I imagine it would work well over most colors and it’s just SUPER SPARKLY AND GREAT. The photos below show 1 coat over Kawagebo + 1 coat Seche Vite.

You can buy Elevation Polish from the Elevation Polish Bigcartel site! New collections restock on Bigcartel on the 7th of every month at 9PM CST and the 22nd at 9AM CST. Girly Bits and Elevation Polish Bamboozled Duo!

*polishes in this post were provided for unbiased review*

Hi guys! Today I have this super gorgeous collab duo from Girly Bits Cosmetics and Elevation Polish, it’s called Bamboozled. Both of these polishes were inspired by bamboo!

The Girly Bits polish is named BamBoom!, and it’s a soft neon green holo with a bit of green holo micro glitter in it as well! I love the color of this polish, and the micro glitter gives it even more of a sparkle, it’s gorgeous! It definitely reminds me of live bamboo, and it makes me want to watch that bamboo forest fight scene in House of Flying Daggers.  I had no issues with the formula, and in the photos below I used 2 coats + 1 coat of Seche Vite.

The Elevation Polish in this duo, Arashiyama, is a sandy nude holo with a charcoal flake shimmer. Another stunner! This polish does a great a job representing what bamboo looks like once it’s dried. Didn’t have any issues with this formula either, it was great! The photos below show 2 coats + 1 coat of Seche Vite.

This duo launches on July 7th at 9PM(with a restock on July 22nd at 9AM) CST(that’s 10PM/AM EST),  exclusively through Elevation Polish.

Elevation Polish – Street Graffiti Collection + When the Cherry Met the Spoon!

*polishes in this post were provided for unbiased review*

Hiiiiii guys! I am so incredibly late with this post, the collection already launched! Whoops. I fiiiinally had a chance to sit down and swatch the collection so, without further ado, here we go!
Up first is the non-collection polish, When the Cherry Met the Spoon. It is a berry red with sparse holographic pigment, ultra chrome flakes, and charcoal flake shimmer. It is super gorgeous! I had no issues with the application on this one(or any of the polishes in this post), and it took 2 coats for it to be opaque. The photos below show 2 coats + top coat.

NYC is a black matte/rubber finished creme with a slight silver micro shimmer. This is suuuch a fantastic black! I love the shimmer in it, it isn’t super in your face but it’s just enough to set it apart from my plethora of other black cremes. The photos below show 2 coats + top coat.

East London is a flakie topper blend of the ultra chrome flake shimmer bits and holographic pigment in a clear base. I really liked how this one popped when I used it over NYC. Photos below show 1 coat East London over NYC + top coat.

Paris is a deep purple/plum medium density holo. A great darker color, and a nice change from the overload of neon things I’ve had lately! Don’t get me wrong, I will love neon everything until the day I die, but I also enjoy a good vampy color in the summer, all the bright sunlight really gives it a chance to shine! You could possibly get away with just 1 coat of this one if you do a thicker coat, but I went with 2 thin coats. Photos below show 2 thin coats + top coat.

Melbourne was one of my favorites of this collection, it’s a medium blue with gold, green, blue, silver micro shimmer, and a slight holographic finish. It really looks spectacular in the sunlight! The photos below show 2 coats + top coat.

The last polish in the collection is LA, a white crelly/jelly with a soft silver pearl shimmer. Like most white polishes, this one takes a bit more of a careful application, but is by no means a difficult polish to work with! I actually found it much easier to use than my typical go to American Apparel white polish. It took 3 fairly thick coats of polish for this one to be opaque for me. Depending on your application, you might be able to get away with 3 coats or you might need 4. The photos below show 3 thick-ish coats + top coat. This one is also fantastic for a nail art base(yes, I actually did some nail art again! what is this craziness! I’ll post it later I promiseeeeee)

You can buy Elevation Polish from the Elevation Polish Bigcartel site! New collections restock on Bigcartel on the 7th of every month at 9PM CST and the 22nd at 9AM CST. And as always, make sure to follow Elevation Polish via her bloginstagram, or facebook for information on new releases and news. This collection already restocked since it is after the 7th at the time of me getting this post done, but I just checked and they’re all still in stock on bigcartel! Also, don’t forget that the Yeti’s Healing Vibes charity polish is still for sale and will be throughout the month of June!

Elevation Polish – Yeti’s Healing Vibes

Hi guys! One new Elevation Polish to show y’all today, it is a special Yeti polish that was made in light of the terrible situation in Nepal.

During the month of May, $10 from the purchase of this polish will be donated to the American Himalayan Foundation, and then from June on, $5 from the purchase of this polish will be donated to the same foundation. This polish restocks today in less than an hour(May 22nd, 9AM CST)!! For more information about the polish, you can check out the Elevation Polish blog post about it here.
Now for the swatches! This polish has a great formula, I had zero issues at all with it, and got full coverage in 2 coats. This polish is a jade crelly with a mix of 2 types of ultra chrome flakes, gunmetal flake shimmer, white/silver flake shimmer and an aqua micro shimmer. In short, it’s a stunner! The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.

This polish, along with the Streets of Japan, restocks today, May 22nd, at 9AM CST. You can buy Elevation Polish from the Elevation Polish Bigcartel site! Elevation Polish – Streets of Japan collection!

It’s that time again! New month, new Elevation collection, yaaay! And alsdjfhasdlf this collection is ON POINT. It has a neon yellow in it, and if y’all know anything about me, it is that I LOVE EVERYTHING NEON.

Up first we have Shinjuku Golden Gai, a blood orange with a slight duochrome finish. This probably isn’t what you would think of when you hear the words blood orange, but it is still a stunner! With my skin tone, it came off a tad more pink than it looked in the bottle by itself, and the blue shimmer is so pretty! The photos below are 2 coats + top coat.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Next up is Hama Rikyu Gardens, a concrete grey with a silver pearl shimmer, some holo goodness, and a matte finish! I really really like how this polish looks matte, but it also looks great if you add some top coat! The first two photos below are 2 coats, and the last two show the polish topped with top coat.

Hitsujiyama Park is a soft, pale pink with some shimmer and a slight holo finish. This one is pretty neutral, it almost didn’t look *super* pink on me, which I liked! Photos below are 2 coats + top coat.

Icho Namiki is easily my favorite of the collection. I have been waiting for a neon main Elevation release ever since I was able to get my hands on the SBP Base of Huangshan ages ago! And let me tell you, this one does notttt disappoint! It is a neon yellow crelly that is both glow in the dark and UV reactive, and it’s got a gold micro shimmer as well as some charcoal flake shimmer bits. The photos below are 3 coats + top coat. The first two photos are in the sunlight and shade, the third is under my black light, and the last one is the glow in the dark shot with the lights off.

Stay Behind, Catch a Wave is a re-release of an original favorite! It first came out in 2012, but the glitter was not available for a while so it had to be retired. Luckily Team Elevation found it again and were able to bring this one back! It’s definitely a beauty, it’s packed with teal, blue, and iridescent glitter in various shapes and sizes. The photos below are 1 coat over Hama Rikyu Gardens.

Evening Walk in the Cherry Blossoms is a special polish, as it is technically not an Elevation! Made by a frankener friend of Team Elevation, Lulu was granted permission to produce and release this one as part of the Streets of Japan collection. It is a blend of small blue and purple glitters, iridescent glitter in various sizes and colors, and even some fuschia holo stars and daisy glitter pieces. This one really is a gorgeous topper, and I had no issue fishing out the bigger glitters to put on my nails! The photos below show 1 coat of Evening Walk in the Cherry Blossoms over Shinjuku Golden Gai.

To finish off the post we have Baby Yeti! This polish is a beast(in a good way!), let me tell you. With 70+ ingredients, it is hard to imagine that many components working out so well into a single polish, but boy it does. It’s a grey crelly base, and pretty much has everything and the kitchen sink in it glitter/pigment/shimmer wise. Definitely a stunning polish! The photos below are 3 coats + top coat.

Elevation Polish – Wyoming the Wild Collection!

Hi y’all! It seems like forever since I’ve had a shiny new Elevation Polish collection to show off! This one definitely doesn’t disappoint, and the wait has been worth it!

Up first is Woah Jackson Hole, a greige/taupe holographic polish with a subtle thermal color change. To be completely honest, I forgot that this one was a thermal until long after I finished doing my swatches, so I don’t have a photo to show the subtle difference between the colors. If it ever stops pouring down rain, I will update this with some more photos. All of that aside, I love this color! It reminds me of one of the first polishes I ever fell in love with color-wise, Essie Chinchilly, only with some shimmer and holo goodness. The photos below are 2 coats + top coat.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Next I have Thunder Basin, a dark brown creme. It’s a gorgeous, vampy brown! I’m not generally drawn to brown polishes, but I like how deep of a brown this one is. The photos below are 2 coats + top coat.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Grand Teton Sunset is a gooooooorgeous vibrant purple creme, and it is a new formula for Elevation as it has a built in top coat. That also means that the formula does not go well with regular top coat and can cause the polish to streak, so make sure to keep that in mind if you get this one! I will admit that I had a bit of trouble with my first go at this one, I think the combination of it being super humid the day I was swatching + I did rather thick coats of this initially caused it to bubble. I re-swatched it at the end of the day and did three thin coats instead of two thick ones, and it turned out perfect! This is also one of those purples that looks a bit different on every skin tone, for some it might lean a bit more blue, and it can be a pain to photograph. It’s alllll worth it though, the color is truly a stunner. The photos below are 3 thin coats, no top coat:

Next is Cloud Peak, a blue polish with black and multicolored flakes and a bit of a holographic sparkle. I love all things that involve those multicolored flakes, so naturally I love this one! All of the multicolored flakes add so much color and that little something extra to this polish. The photos below are 2 coats + top coat.

Iceberg Lake is probably my favorite of the collection, it is just the perfect shade of turquoise. PERFECT. SHADE. To give you an idea of how much I like this color, when I was doing my swatches I accidentally sat this bottle on top of clothes on my dresser. At that point I thought I lost it because it not only matched the shorts I had laid it on, but also the color of the actual dresser, and it was completely camouflaged. The photos below are 3 coats + top coat.

Fireflies in a Dark Meadow is a black crelly with lots of gold and multicolor flake shimmer. It was recently an SBP and, due to it being so often requested, it was made into a core polish! The formula has been changed slightly between SBP to now, this version is more opaque and has a bit more of that golden shimmer. The photos below are 3 coats + top coat.

The last polish I have to show you guys is a special top coat, Hidden Falls. It is a 23k gold nugget topper, and it will have a higher price tag($25) than other Elevations due to the time it takes to make and the amount of gold used. I didn’t have any issues getting the gold pieces out, though I did use more of a glitter blobbing method than just swiping the brush over the nail. The photos below are 1 coat Hidden Falls over Iceberg Lake + top coat.

Pahlish – Beyond the Wall Trio!

Hi guys! Today I have some swatches of the latest Pahlish release, a Game of Thrones themed trio of black, white, and grey polishes! I really love this trio, and I have nail art plans for it! I fiiiiiinally bought a new round of nail art brushes, and provided I have enough free time tonight I think I’m gonna attempt to bang out some Game of Thrones themed goodness to go along with these polishes. Anywho, on with the swatches!

Up first is The Three Eyed Raven, it is a soft black creme with gunmetal micro flakes throughout. I love the flakie bits in this one! It would make an amazing background for some galaxy nails I bet. The photo below is 2 coats + top coat(no sun shots for these swatches, every dang time I tried to get my swatches done the sky decided to cloud over)

Next up is The Frostfangs, a grey creme with a mixture of gunmetal and silver micro flakes. This one is another stunner! I am a sucker for grey polishes, and this one is no exception. The photo below is 2 coats + top coat.
