Hiiiiii guys! Even though this blog has been a wasteland for most of the month, I’m still alive I promise! And now I am back with the upcoming Elevation Polish collection for October, the Africa collection. This collection has some great polishes for the fall season!
Up first is Wagagai, a vanilla creme with a multicolored shimmer. I could not get the shimmer to show up no matter what I did, but it’s there! (If you check out Pointless Cafe’s post of this collection, she has a macro shot up that shows the shimmer off really well!) I had to do 3 coats of this one for full coverage, but the formula gave me no issues! It’s a great base for some nail art as well, but I will post more on that tomorrow, hahaha. For the photos below, I did 3 coats as mentioned above + 1 coat Seche Vite.
Next up is Table Mountain, a dusty rose/pink/lavender-ish holo. I really like how subtle this color is while still packing that holo punch! The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
Mount Meru is a peach creme with a slight holo finish. I wasn’t sure I would like this polish on my skin tone, but once I got it on I was pleasantly surprised! No formula issues(though that’s pretty standard with Elevations from what I’ve seen, haha), the photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
Devil’s Cauldron is a brown/taupe polish packed with a warm, multicolored shimmer. This was one of my favorites of the collection, I just love the shade of brown combined with the shimmer, and it just screams fall to me. The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
The last polish of the collection is Darkest Safari, a blackened green shimmery holo polish. Another fantastic fall color, and probably my favorite of the collection! The photos below are 2 coats + 1 coat Seche Vite.
