Happy Hands Swatch Spam!

Hi guys! I finally got around to getting a few of the new Happy Hands polishes released in October and let me tell you, they are gorgeous!  I also busted out a few of my old favorite HH polishes for some swatch spam.

First up, we have Sweet Dreams. According to Happy Hands, this polish is a “dreamy aqua blue jelly with pastel green, pink, aqua and holographic purple glitters.” I love everything about this one! It is opaque in 3 coats, no base color needed. Photo below is 3 coats + top coat.

Next up we have The Midnight Society. This one is a “glow-in-the-dark blue jelly (and it also glows blue) with micro iridescent glitters.” You can get this one opaque by itself, but I layered two coats of TMS over Elevation Polish – Pic de Sotllo for this photo. There is also a less than stellar quality photo on my instagram of the polish glowing in the dark. I just could not get a good photo of the glow, even though it can get pretty bright in person.

Danse Macabre 2.0 is a polish that was revamped from a halloween release last year. It’s a “ghoulish mix of black glitters (including bars) with neon glitter in green, orange, and pink, the neon glitters are also black light reactive.”  It’s also a limited edition, so grab it while you can! The photo below is one coat over China Glaze – Fast Track

The Tale of the Dark Music is another great polish! It’s a “black jelly filled with microglitters in red, fuchsia, purple, and blue”. I just love the glitter mix in this one! As with The Midnight Society, it is possible to build this one to opaque by itself, but I preferred to swatch it over another polish. The photo below is two coats of The Tale of the Dark Music over Deborah Lippmann – Dancing in the Sheets.

And finally we have another older favorite Happy Hands polish of mine, Am I Not Yours? This one is  a “teal-green jelly filled with sapphire, lime, green, teal, and chartreuse glitters (mostly holographic and a few satin squares).” I have worn it by itself as well as layered over both bright blue and hunter green polishes, and it works wonderfully over them all!  For the photo below, I used two coats of Am I Not Yours? over American Apparel – Hunter
